To Sound Intro
As one who has spent years indulging passions for both creating visual images and producing music and sound, scoring video and film has proven to be a process well-suited to my experience. I look forward to continued opportunities in this exciting field which also allows me to enjoy making use of my large collection of musical instruments and other sound-making implements.

With the following projects I have gained experience in many aspects of producing sound for picture from recording location sound to digitizing, synching, scoring and mixing.

1990 Music co-written with Corey Cousineau and Celina Carroll and recorded for an 15-minute art video entitled The Dwelling, by Nadine Arpin

1991 Music and foley composed and recorded for a 20-minute art video entitled Not Too Sentimental, by Carolyn Rowney, funded by the Ontario Arts Council

2000 Boom operator and Assistant Sound Recordist for Grace, a Bravo! production directed by David Nardy.

May 2001 Sound design and music composed, performed, produced and recorded for a 10-minute digital video drama entitled Unexpected Tea, directed by Michelle Horacek, Misha Productions.

January 2004 Sound design, dialogue edit and music composed, performed and recorded for Jest In Time, a half-hour documentary on the Halifax mime company. Chosen for screening at the Atlantic Film Festival.

December 2001 Music composed, performed and recorded for a 15-minute dramatic film entitled Casual Encounter, directed by Karen Houle.

January 2002 Music composed, performed and recorded for a half-hour documentary entitled, Adriena Simotova, produced and directed by Michelle Horacek, Misha Productions for the National Gallery of Prague.

November 2002 Sound design and music composed, performed and recorded for a half-hour documentary entitled, Masque, directed by Michelle Horacek, Misha Productions.

December 2002 Music composed, performed and recorded for a 11-minute performance video entitled, Lamps, directed by Michelle Horacek, Misha Productions.

April 2003 Music composed, performed and recorded for an 11-minute segment of a video entitled, Dirty Pillows, Volume 1, directed by B Whitehall.

April 2005 Music composed, performed and recorded for Why I'm Always Late, a 5-minute video comedy directed by Melissa Levin for “Command Z", Artist in Residency Program, Charles Street Video, Toronto.

April 2006 Sound edit, music composed, performed and recorded for Sugar & Steele and All That's Good For Her, produced by Carlyle Jansen for Good For Her, Toronto. Screened at The Inside Out Festival, Toronto.

May 2006 Sound edit and music composed, performed and recorded for Joes' Room, produced by Jennifer Grant.
